The Anywhere Platform includes analytics dashboards to help monitor system performance and to highlight any custom dashboards which may need tuning.
The server health dashboard shows the number of application servers running and their status. Production instances of the platform will have at least 2 application servers running at any one time however this will scale up automatically depending on the number of users and the workload. Non-production instances will have a minimum of one server running but will scale up in the same way as Production, for example if a training course is running.
The server health dashboard can be accessed from the Administration Workbench. From the menu, select Admin Center under the Administration section.
From the administration workbench, select Health from the Performance section.
The speed analytics dashboard shows a graphical summary of average page speed and a breakdown of pages visited during the last 60 days.
This dashboard can be used to identify pages where users are experiencing wait times higher than expected for the page to load.
The speed analytics dashboard can be accessed from the Administration Workbench. From the menu, select Admin Center under the Administration section.
From the administration workbench, select Speed Analytics from the Performance section.
Click on the URL in the Visited column to view analytics for that page
Custom dashboards with average load times higher than the threshold may need to be investigated and tuned to improve the performance.
Use the speed analytics page to identify pages that require investigation. Click on the URL of the page to view detailed analytics showing the dates the page was accessed and the load time(s) on that date. This gives an indicator of the frequency of use of the dashboard.
In some cases, average load times which are higher than the threshold may be expected especially if the dashboard is displaying a lot of data or performing aggregation of a large data set (for example a wide time range).
