This page provides an overview of a resource pool including the ability to edit its basic details.
The details section displays the basic attributes of a resource pool. When creating a new resource pool, this section is automatically in edit mode. For an existing resource pool, click on the pencil icon to change the basic attributes of the resource pool.
This graph shows the capacity of the resource pool for the next 12 months along with demand and allocation of resources.
Use this graph to identify spare capacity and unmet demand. Unmet demand is demand for resources for which a person has not yet been allocated.
Use the Resource Balancer to manage capacity and allocations.
Use this hero button to open the Resource Balancer for the resource pool.
Once created, projects cannot be deleted. They can only be closed.
Click on an existing project to view the Project Overview Page. From the overview page it is possible to drill down to the project governance page where actions to close or cancel the project will be available to those with the correct authority.
The demand content area shows demand on the resource pool (from proposals, projects and services) for which a person has not been allocated and the demand is within the next 6 weeks.
Use the Resource Balancer to manage capacity and to allocate/de-allocate resources to work
Click on the right-hand arrow to drill down into the Resource Pool Requests Dashboard which will display details of all the resource pool requests showing whether they are fulfilled or not.
The allocation content area shows existing allocations of resources to work over the next 6 weeks
