The menu editor is used to create and manage a menu that is assigned to end users
This page can be accessed from the Menus Dashboard. From the menu, select 'Config Workbench' under the 'Administration' section.
From the configuration workbench, select 'Menus' from the 'Look and Feel' section.
The Info section contains the basic attributes of a menu.
The menu tab defines the structure of the menu. Menus comprise items which take the user to a specific page when clicked on.
Menu items are grouped into logical categories to help the user find what they are looking for.
The ordering of the categories and the items within the category are reflected when the end user clicks on a drop down menu
Click on the orange '+' icon labelled 'Category' at the top left of the menu editor.
A new category will be added after the last category and will be prefixed 'NEW nn' where 'nn' is a number. This may appear towards the bottom of the page if there are already a lot of categories and items.
Click on the category name to change it.
Click on the icon to the left of the name to select a different one
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes

Click on the pencil icon for the item to edit it.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes
To associate an item with it's category simply drag the item by its handle (2 columns of 4 vertical dots to the right of the item) and place it in the required position within the desired category.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes
To reorder an item within it's category simply drag the item by its handle (2 columns of 4 vertical dots to the right of the item) up or down until the right sequence is obtained.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes
To edit an item, click on the pencil icon to the right of the item.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes
To delete an item, click on the bin/trash can icon to the right of the item.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes.
To reorder a category simply drag the category by its handle (2 columns of 4 vertical dots to the right of the item) to the correct position until the right sequence is obtained.
All items within the category will remain with the category during the reordering.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes.
To edit a category label click on the category label to change it.
Click on the icon to the left of the label to select a different one.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes.
To delete a category, click on the bin/trash can icon to the right of the category.
Click on 'Save' at the top of the page to save changes.
The Users tab allows menus to be associated with users.
Menus can also be associated with users via the user account page. Refer to User Accounts for further details.
The history tab shows previous versions of the menu. Click on 'Restore' to restore the menu to an earlier version.
The version prior to restoring is retained at the top of the list.
Menus can be copied to speed up their creation.
From the drop down menu next to the 'Save' button, select 'Copy'.
Provide a name for the new menu.
Menus can be deleted but all references to that menu must first be removed.
Check for dependent references by using the 'Users' tab.
If there are no dependencies click on the drop down menu next to the save button and select 'Delete'
