This page will display a list of workflow statuses defined in the platform. Workflow statuses are referred to on process templates and define the different statuses for an entity as it progresses through its lifecycle. Process templates can have a very small and simple set of statuses, for example 'Open' and 'Closed' whereas more complex processes may have more statuses to match the number of steps in the process.
Workflow statuses defined here can be used across different process templates.
As well as listing existing statuses, this page will also provide the option to create new ones.
This page can be accessed from the Configuration workbench. From the menu, select 'Config Workbench' under the 'Administration' section.
From the configuration workbench, select 'Workflow Statues' from the 'Forms and Workflow' section.
To create a new status, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the '+' icon labelled 'New Status'
A new row will be added to the list with the status field blank
Enter the status name of the status to be added and then click on 'Save' at the top of the screen.
The status name of a status can be updated. Making this change affects all existing forms using that status.
Click on the status name to be updated and update the value
Save your changes when done
Statuses cannot be deleted. If an existing status should no longer be used it may be helpful to label the status to indicate this.
