An account is required to access the system. If you need to register for an account you can do so from the login page:
Navigate to the system's login page
Click the text that reads register
Input your email address for the new account
Click register
The administrators of the system will receive a notification about your request for an account
You will receive a welcome email if your account creation request is accepted
The standard login screen will display an input panel for the following:
Username field
Password field
Language to display marked-text in the system in a preferred language
Remember Me check box to save your account credentials
Sign In button
Forgot Password to initiate a self-recovery process
Register to request an account be created for you
Standard authentication requires the input of a username and password to access the system.
Navigate to the system's login page
Input your username
Input your password
Click Sign In
If the credentials you have inputted are correct you will be authenticated
Your account may become inaccessible under certain circumstances as follows:
Too many wrong attempts: By default if the incorrect password is inputted 3 times consecutively then your account will become locked
Account expired: If your account's end date has elapsed
Account disabled: If your account has been disabled by an administrator
You may use the forgot password process to unlock your account if it has been locked by too many wrong login attempts, but you will need to contact an administrator to resolve the other two scenarios.
You are able to use a self-service process from the login page to reset your password.
Navigate to the system's login page
Click the text that reads forgot password
Input the email address associated with your account
Click submit
If the email address is valid a password reset email will be sent to it
Click the reset my password button in the email
Enter a new password for your account
Click update to finish changing your password
You can now log in with the new password and the same username
The new password inputted must meet the password policy set for the system, otherwise it will be rejected.
A forgotten password request will not automatically lock a user account. Therefore the existing login credentials will remain valid until the reset password process is completed.
If your user account is set up with Multi Factor Authentication then an additional passcode is required before log in is successful.
You will receive the code via e-mail.
Navigate to the system's login page
Input your username
Input your password
Click Sign In
View your e-mail inbox for the passcode
Input the passcode into the login panel
Click the passcode button
If the credentials you have inputted are correct you will be authenticated
The passcode you receive will expire after 15 minutes.
If the system is set up with Single Sign-on then the authentication process will automatically happen as soon as you visit the system.
Navigate to any page in the system
The application will automatically try to authenticate you via the single sign-on process
If you are inactive for a certain period of time your session will automatically time out. When this happens you will get a popup saying you have timed out, and be requried to log back in to continue using the system.
By default the time limit for inactivity is 30 minutes. However, this can be configured and managed in the system settings by system administrators.
The sign out button is located in your flydown menu.
In your top navigation bar find the icon that is three horizontal lines
Click on this icon to open your fly down menu
The sign out button will be the last item in the menu
If Single Sign on is enabled the system will automatically re-authenticate you into the system.
