Skills Dashboard

This page will display a list of skills and will provide the option to create a new one depending on business rules. Skills provide a way to more closely match resources to work beyond what is provided at role level. Unlike roles, a resource can have multiple skills. The use of skills within Resource Management is optional.

• Enter text in the filter criteria to restrict the skills displayed

• Depending on business rules, new skills can be created from this page.

• Click on the ‘+’ sign in this page to create a new skill. The skill detail page will be displayed with basic attributes section in edit mode. 

• If there is no +' sign then either the user does not have the authority to create a skill.

• Click on an existing skill to view the Skill Detail Page 

• Click on an existing skill to view the Skill Detail Page . From this page it is possible to make updates to the skill and view statistics about skill utilisation and distribution across the organisation.

• Once created, skills cannot be deleted. They can only be disabled.

• Click on an existing role to view the Skill Detail Page . From the detail page it is possible disable the skill which will ensure it doesn't show up when selecting a skill from the list.
