This page will display a list of roles and will provide the option to create a new one depending on business rules. Roles are used to match resources to planned work. They are therefore specified on the resource record and when defining the resource plan for a piece of work.

Depending on business rules, new roles can be created from this page.
Click on the ‘+’ sign in this page to create a new role. The role detail page will be displayed with basic attributes section in edit mode.
If there is no +' sign then either the user does not have the authority to create a role.
Click on an existing role to view the Role Detail Page
Click on an existing role to view the role detail page. From this page it is possible to make updates to the role and view statistics about role utilisation and distribution across the organisation.
Once created, roles cannot be deleted. They can only be disabled.
Click on an existing role to view the Role Detail Page . From the detail page it is possible disable the role which will ensure it doesn't show up when selecting a role from the list.
