This page will display a list of environments defined in the platform. Environments represent the instances of The Anywhere Platform that a customer or team has access too. For example, a customer might have a non-production environment where new configuration is built and test and then a 'live' or 'production' environment where configuration is migrated to, once it has been tested in the non-production environment.
This page can be accessed from the Configuration workbench. From the menu, select 'Configuration' under the 'Administration' section. This will open the configuration workbench.
From the configuration workbench select Environments from the Migrations section.
Enter text in the filter criteria to restrict the environments displayed
Click on the ‘+’ sign in this page to create a new validation. The will open the Environment Detail page.
If there is no +' sign then either the user does not have the authority to create an environment.
Click on an existing environment to view the Environment Detail page.
Click on an existing environment to view the Environment Detail page. From this page it is possible to make updates to the environment.
Environments cannot be deleted but they can be marked as inactive if no longer in use.
Click on the environment to be deactivated
In the Environment Detail page click on the pencil to edit the environment.
Set the Active attribute to 'No'
Environments can be deactivated to prevent them being used further.
Click on the environment to be deactivated
