Regions represent a way for organisations to manage regional settings such as currencies, holiday calendars, language and working practices, for example the number of working hours in a day and which days are ‘working’ days.
The geographic scope of a region is generally aligned to a country but could also be an area that shares the same currency and holiday periods. A country could also have multiple regions in the scenario where the country has different regional holidays, for example state holidays in the US.
Regions are used by the following entities in the tool:
Regions can be created by navigating to the Regions page or access via the ‘Admin Centre’ dashboard under the ‘Administration’ category.
From the Regions list, click on the ‘+’ icon to create a new region.

Regions can be accessed from the ‘Admin Centre’ dashboard under the ‘Administration’ category of the pull down menu. This will bring up the Regions Dashboard.
Click on a region to view the full details.
Find and open the region as described in the section ‘Finding and viewing regions’
Click on the pencil icon to edit the region. There is additional help for the region detail page which describes the impact of changing a region that is already in use.
The regional calendar can be updated from the same page as the region. Find and open the region as described in the section ‘Finding and viewing regions’ The detail page will show the regional calendar.
Click on working day in the calendar to change it to non-working.
Click on a non-working day to change it to working.
Once defined, regions cannot be deleted. If the region is no longer required, it is recommended that the name be updated to reflect that the region should no longer be used.
