This page shows the basic details for a dashboard template as well as its frequency of use and the users who use it.
This page can be accessed from the following:
The Dashboard Templates page which can be accessed from the Configuration workbench. From the menu, select 'Config Workbench' under the 'Administration' section and then select 'Dashboard Templates' from the 'Data and Reporting' section.
The Content Area Definition Detail page when viewing the list of dashboard templates using a content area definition.
The details section contains the basic attributes of a dashboard template. The 'Is Template' attribute defines whether the dashboard template is part of the dashboard library, in which case users can use it as the basis for creating their own dashboards.
To edit the dashboard template, click on the 'Edit Template' icon to the top right of the page. This option is only available to users who have edit access to the dashboard. This will open the dashboard in edit mode.
Refer to Dashboards Overview for further details about editing dashboards. Dashboards are made up of one or more content areas. Refer to Content Area Definitions to learn more about creating and editing content area definitions.
This section shows the frequency of users accessing the dashboard categorised into usage within 30 days, between 30 and 60 days ago and 60-90 days ago.
Use this section when assessing the impact of making changes to a dashboard.
This section shows who the users of the dashboard are and when they last viewed it.
Use this section to better understand how the user community are making use of this dashboard.
